MegaUpload saved my ass back in 2009, I was doing some homework in class ( college) I had all my crap saved and ready to go onto my flash drive ( about 8gb of work) …FLASH DRIVE WAS STOLEN.

oh shit, what can i do?! how can i take my homework home with me? I can’t leave it on the rig in class because it will get erased!!!

So I signed up at MegaUpload, uploaded my shit on there, (password protected so only i can get my shit back) went home having a heart attack of sorts, I got on my computer and BOOM, my shit was there. all of it.

I was able to move my content onto a new flash drive and then I was able to turn in all my assignments in the next day.

MegaUpload saved my ass in 2011 when I knew my home rig was about to die, i had about  ( lol, 10gb) of personal artwork I had made, projects and whatnot. I stashed my shit again on MegaUpload so I can retrieve my stuff when I got my computer back up and working a few days later.

I am so sad to see MegaUpload gone, is YouTube next? Is Twitter? DeviantArt?  When Wikipedia had blacked out - I felt NAKED. I did not realize how much losing such a resource would stun me.
