Ritual of the Holy Assumption
I was playing Silent Hill 4: The Room…. when I get to the whole ritual/holy assumption shenanigans - i realize this is a real life organization in religion . (though mostly unrelated )
but in regards to the game itself - this is what happened ( keep in mind, GOD is a woman )
Through the Ritual of the Holy Assumption, Walter Sullivan was able to become the 11th Sacrament by crucifying himself in Room 302’s storage room and continue to live as a ghost in his own “Otherworld”. The exact workings of the ritual are unknown. However, when Henry Townshend discovers Walter’s corpse in Room 302, he also finds the cult’s sacred objects, such as the Obsidian Goblet and the White Chrism, giving the possibility that they may be required for the ritual. To prepare for the ritual, 10 hearts, or 10 sacrifices, are also required; these are also found inside storage room’s refrigerator.
The cup is also mentioned in Silent Hill 4: The Room in the Crimson Tome. The tome says that one must gather the Black Cup, the White Oil, and the Blood of the Ten Sinners. Henry Townshend also sees the oil on a table along with the Obsidian Goblet when he opens the secret room with Walter Sulllivan’s corpse.

I never thought I’d see something like this but we found out that that renegade sect that broke off from that cult is trying to ‘fix’ things now. It really doesn’t look like their plans are working. Someone keeps getting to the body stash before they can and things are worse than ever. If you guys can get out here that would be very helpful.
